The All New BradyNet FORUM
Welcome to the All-New BradyNet FORUM!

We hope that you find this new system much better than the old one. We have several new features:

1 - Users are all given permanent "handles" (the name that shows up when you post) which requires registration. Hopefully this will improve the quality of the messages for everybody and discourage those who simply post in order to disrupt the forums.

2 - Users are all entitled to a scaled-down version of BradyNet Pro, containing some of the features of our premium service.

3 - Among these features is the EDIT PROFILE page, where you can supply information that will become visible to other BradyNet users.

4 - There are many more topics now to choose from.

5 - The continuity of the old FORUM has been preserved by carefully converting all of the old messages into the new format. A few message threads have been relocated to better fit our new expanded list of topics.

6 - Coming soon: we will have a "What's New" page to show the newest articles posted.

In order to start posting, you must first register. (Click the REGISTER button at the top of the page.) This is a quick and painless process, and doesn't cost a thing.

If you have any problems with the new FORUM system leave a reply to this message here and somebody from BradyNet will try to answer your question publically.

Best regards,
Daniel Freeman

06-21-99  Lyndonglen: Seeking advise. I have recently began investing in bonds, near retirement, made some purchases without adequate research and now somewhat wiser and wary. Aim to invest 250K portfolio in intermediate bonds for interest return above 9%. Is there a bond fund for off-shore investors which will meet my goal? Alternately, what 4 to 6 gov't bonds you could recommend?

06-18-99  Rongreat: I am having problems posting my article in the Forum. I keep getting "document contains no data" I have posted a reply in the forum so it is not my computer or brouser at fault. Please check it out.Rongreat.

05-26-99  Daniel: One last <<test>> <test> and finally a < testing > sorry about that...

05-26-99  Daniel: New feature: if you quote other people's text with < and >, the text in the middle will appear slightly off-color to set it apart.

I added this because many users of Color of the Market (found at http://www.bradynet.com/color.html ) like to quote each other like this:

05-26-99 wally: bubi: <understand why I'm trying to compensate via Rusfed 28?> of course, i fully understand. your position is the same like mine.

If you use single and it will not work.

05-05-99  Daniel: I have heard reports that some users with older browsers (specifically Netscape 3.0) are having problems. This doesn't make much sense to me...

I am posting this message as a test to see if I can do it. I am using Netscape 2.02, the oldest browser I could find.

Until I figure out what the problem might be, or until I am able to duplicate the problem here, my only advice is to look into upgrading your software.

05-05-99  unpourtous: testing, testing

04-26-99  Daniel: The "What's New" section is now online! This should really help our communication, as we can now see at a glance where the discussion is taking place. The URL is http://www.bradynet.com/bbs/whatsnew and there are links to it from the Main Menu of the FORUM.
