Am I crazy to believe my friend?

Ok guys ready for this crazy scenario... A good friend of mine hit me up for this investment opp. It works like this - I give him 450K to go originate and lease for 1 month 10M dollars. (Can you even lease money from a large instituition?) He says the money is blocked by an MT760 so no one can actually access the money. He in turn puts the money into the name of a so called trust that uses this as a proof of funds account? The trust then pays back 25% a month on the money back to us... So please tell me I am crazy to invest with this guy or does it seem like it could work?
