Just to move ahead quickly, here are the procedures:

1. Borrower sends CIS, LOI and photo or photocopy of collateral (I was thinking of maybe an object you want to offer as guarantee)and also proof that you really need the loan (phone bills, utlity bills)

2. Borrower and lender lodge the contract in their respective Windows Explorer folder.

3. Contract is signed with full details of both parties indicated clearly.

4. Both parties open Paypal and eBay accounts with lender also opening a separate Paypal account to serve as escrow.

5. At an agreed window time, both parties establish contact via Skype or MSN Messenger swiftly...haha!

6. Borrower posts Collateral for sale on eBay at US$1, while Lender sends US$300 in the separate escrow account

7. Lender secures the Collateral at highest bid and once locked, lender sends escrow Paypal account password via Skype to borrower.

8. Borrower collects the US$300 from Paypal escrow account and courier hard copy of Collateral to lender's indicated address and at the same time returns the bid price paid for the collateral on eBay to Lender's paypal account.

So Markg, awaiting your email for this absolutely safe transaction for you.

Indeed you have to ask for all these documents because you may work with a Scammer. But and before you may starting as private lender try to spend the 300 Bucks to buy some "stuff" for your mission. This is in fact a better investment. You may don't have a high ROI!! but we all know that you will save the world again!!!
