10-10-03  savonarola: Guano 12s catching up fast the 30s...

One wonders what is <Barrionuevo> saying at <Barclays> morning meeting.

10-10-03  ozymiani: or maybe the <bus ticket> in russia didn't include the bus: at the bus stop you just met a ticket-clerk who told you: "hey comrade, take your frigging piece of bread and WALK all the way to your destination". That's why the bread was so expensive.

10-10-03  ozymiani: <amigo latino: Glut: 20 kopeiks you could buy a piece of bread Glut, please indicate how big is the piece—weightwise(approximate)>: as big as a bus, of course.

10-10-03  Glutt: moneykopeika, is you Russian or only pretend? i know from wally you is a charming young lady...but he forgot to mention your descent.

10-10-03  amigo latino: Glut, I assume that the WSJ article about multiyear portfolio growth rate calculations satisfied you. If you still have any questions, please post them or send an e-mail.

10-10-03  amigo latino: <Glut: ….20 kopeiks you could buy a piece of bread>

Glut, please indicate how big is the piece—weightwise(approximate).

10-10-03  amigo latino: <wally: <loisl <Any opinions, please?>> my interpretation is that Guano12 will be at par before Christmas :~)) >

Wally and Alois: Ecu 12 is mainly for clipping a fat coupon with reasonable security and price appreciation goal, being secondary. Ecu 30 is for capital gains principally and secondarily with a not-an-insignificant coupon(some default protection). The choice is clear(through my (imaginary glasses :-) .

10-10-03  hann: Sold last brazil 40 and russian corp's. Now at 33% cash.

10-10-03  moneypenny: (was trying to see if my cyrillic notepad would work - it didn't)

10-10-03  moneypenny: Êàê Äåëà, Ãëóò?

10-10-03  moneypenny: Glutty: <As regards moneykopeika, it is not more abusive than moneypfenning or moneycentavo, kopeika is a coin I used all my life till recent> Da, da, ponimaio kopeki. Ochen interesna.

Pre-vee-et.

10-10-03  moneypenny: Ruspanuschka: :-))))

10-10-03  ruspan: MP: Privet Privet! How's your desinfoxication progress? You look better :-)

10-10-03  Primo: glut:<v idish> - <vizhu>:)

10-10-03  alois25: Guano 12 trading at 88,50 in little Berlin at 11.27 local time. :--))

10-10-03  moneypenny: Jackie was right:

<Chavez government ignores court order to demilitarize Caracas>

http://edition.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/a...

The thug cannot stop himself.

10-10-03  moneypenny: Ruspan: Pri-vee-et, Ruspanuscha! Ochen horashow!

10-10-03  ruspan: Glutt:<mne govorili chto spanish tolko mozhet sravnitsia v etom s russkim> Bah! nikakogo sravneniya :-)

10-10-03  Glutt: primo, v idish net takih sochnih slov kak v russkom, mne govorili chto spanish tolko mozhet sravnitsia v etom s russkim

10-10-03  ozymiani: <cciano><burp>: and cciano burping after fìdrinking a glass of municipal water: which costs, I presume, as much as a gallon of gaz, in order to march glutt's bread price.

Nice example of how much you two know about what money (then bonds, then any financial asset) is worth.

10-10-03  alois25: Glutt, <forgive me Kebap which contrary to my view was flying high> I actually thought of writing you the same. My belly was wrong about turks this time. (Maybe not in a longer run?)

I had more than 30 % of the familiy fortune investetd in kebabs at one time and I was content when I got away with it. So I missed the recent rally - so what. A lot of our other bonds have developed nicely too... Don't worry, be happy.

10-10-03  ozymiani: blah blah blah blah. Glutt feisting on a piece of bread that costs FIVE TIMES the bus fare in a metropolis. Some economics degree you got.

10-10-03  Cciano: I thank god every day for having sent us poor clipper souls the one who tells us how miserable we are. mementum mori or so. don't stop to enlighten us, great ozy!

BURP! NEXT!

10-10-03  Glutt: Ozymissimo, your posting indeed shows your imbecility not mention your sick mind. Not knowing the subject you perform really an exercise of imbecility with help of simple arithmetic (not math) … congratulations you Defective…

10-10-03  ozymiani: see, <glutt>, no <medication>: <mathematics> is enough for realizing how imbecile your postings are.

10-10-03  ozymiani: <gkutt><for 20 kopeiks you could buy a piece of bread or for 4 kopeiks you could use a one way trip in city bus>: interesting. This makes the price of a <piece> of bread equal to more or less 5 pounds (= 8.30 dollars). 8 dollars for a piece of brea makes 16 dollars for an empty sandwich. And this happened <before> russia was <impoverished> by a <capitalist plot>. There's certainly some ground for nostalgia. Now I understand what ruspan is always bragging about.

10-10-03  Primo: nu glut idish-to on ponimaet. Tak chto eto -tipichnyi schlemazl - mudilo ... esli on deistvilno ne psikh.

10-10-03  Glutt: slushai, primo, kak zhalko chto etot nedonosheni po russki ne ponimaet, u menia stolko horoshih slov dlia nego nashlos bi .. ja dumaju on bi prosto ohuel ot schastja...

10-10-03  Glutt: Have you promptly taken a proper medication ozymissimo-debilissimo? I hope you received finally your sandbox so your master does not have to change carpets anymore…

10-10-03  Glutt: ozy, MORNI'... & <F@ck YOU> again...

10-10-03  Glutt: kstati, <naher> po nemezki eto <potom, po pozdnee>

10-10-03  Glutt: Primo: <k <hercu> ne budu. No slovo khoroshee :-))) > a predstavi kogda ja tolko sjuda priehal & vse nazivajut tebia <her>om? moja zhena prosto ne mogla ne hohotati...

10-10-03  Glutt: before ozy comments on anything in my posting let me place a polite reminder for him <F@ck YOU!>

10-10-03  Glutt: Moneypenny <Whatever else Arnie is, he has a kind and generous heart.> do not know how true are these stories but if they are then Arnie is indeed a great heart… and for the rest it depends on the team I guess. I believe few politicians were professionals in anything except blabla and stealing but the genius of politician was not his knowledge but the right choice of his people. IMVHO

As regards moneykopeika, it is not more abusive than moneypfenning or moneycentavo, kopeika is a coin I used all my life till recent, and decades ago kopeika was money, you could place time-unlimited inner city call at the pay machine for only 2 kopeiks!!! for 20 kopeiks you could buy a piece of bread or for 4 kopeiks you could use a one way trip in city bus… that time official exchange rate of rouble against 1 $ was 68 kopeiks!!! indeed rouble was hard currency, hard because USSR citizens for possession of any foreign currency could easily go to jail. In black market people were selling $ for 3-4 roubles. Interesting was time.

10-10-03  ozymiani: <PILLZ.it took you one year to understand it ?>: cretinus maximus.

10-10-03  Primo: k <hercu> ne budu. No slovo khoroshee :-)))

10-10-03  Glutt: da ti chto primo, priezhai pozhivi zdesia & ti poimesh chto mestnje aborigeni v bolshinstve svoem dobrje imbeciles... a esli serjezno tak ja dumal ti eto v shutku & tak ved i ja tozhe... ne prinimai k herzu.

10-10-03  Glutt: alois25, forgive me Kebap which contrary to my view was flying high …I should have listened to my inner voice telling me - do not piss against Ataturks even if you know you are right. I was two years their optimist exploiting moral hazard and simply could not believe this would continue forever.

10-10-03  Primo: izvini Glatushka - ya ser'ezno.

10-10-03  Glutt: primo, repeat after me <Glutt is not Austrian, Glutt is not Austrian...>

10-10-03  ruspan: Drjbg:<We usually elect people based on grasp of policy, good judgment, intelligence, and the like.> <The like> being 10 M$ for governer and around 500 M$ for president? :-)

10-10-03  Glutt: primo <either)! Glutt>! you must have become quite a smart Austrian :-)) (a to Malzety,Malzety:) > if you want to abuse me you could not find better way

10-10-03  cirun: <Advice><<I suppose you bought before it closed the gap>> Yes I did but not today, Am staying long since a couple of months, average 3.80. So You do´nt need to feel guilty for my capital apreciation. Thanks. What I dont understand is the thing with EMT since it performed 10 times better then tcp with jumping 500% ina day in my chart. Yahoo news do´nt explain it. I had her at the same time on my watchlist. Would like some education.

10-10-03  Primo: <$ oil price remains high not only because Airabs are so monkey but because there is oil $ price inflation. So who cares when EU socialists suffer? i would suggest no one.> agree (and on <Arnie> either)!

<Glutt>! you must have become quite a smart Austrian :-)) (a to Malzety,Malzety:)

10-10-03  leo: or some 7% 2006...

10-10-03  leo: Did Pillz or someone else buy Levi's bonds???I'm thinking about buying some 12.25 2012...

10-10-03  optimist: Mprning, friends .. Just for bond info - link:

http://www.bondpickers.com/?source=...

10-10-03  leo: This could be just another time when anal-ysts call the dollar at 1.30 and we go back to 1.08.....

10-10-03  Glutt: Primo, as i understand oil contracts although $ are settled de fact €, of course there are fees to pay for conversion and $ LCs.. so it is advantage for Kraut Schroeder to persuade Putin but i if in shoes of Putin would agree to do this only for 50% write off Paris Club debt…. Hahaha

Seriously, $ oil price remains high not only because Airabs are so monkey but because there is oil $ price inflation. So who cares when EU socialists suffer? i would suggest no one.

as regards Arnie, he is one of few if not only capable Austrians so why not joy for Arnie boy?

10-10-03  Primo: <German> Wally discussing Austrian-born and the world movie star Arnie elected in Ca.

In the mean time Shroeder and Putin discussing transferring oil pricing in Euro and E.ON buying electricity generating assets in Western parts of Russia. It happens in the city of Ekatirinburg (Urals) - the city named after Ekaterina the great (also German) - and in presence of the most probable further Russian PM G(H)erman Gref – who is ethnically German.

Definitely a conspiracy … rgds.

10-09-03  tica9: Pillz. Thanks for the information on Exide. Looks like people expect them to pay off next April. Will be a very nice profit item with interest, capital increase, and Euro increase.

10-09-03  Advice55: <10-09-03 cirun: thanks for <Advice> I join brasilien Party with CESP and TCP this time> I suppose you bought before it closed the gap, if soo, I feal guilty here, but in the market place we always have to be glad when a gap is closed fast, otherwise it will be closed lately (usually, 90% of cases in stocks I think)....

EMT has a gap to close, that should worry new buyers, TCP already closed the Gap, TNE too, PBR too.... Think EMT might suffer a little, but only in the short run.... AS a stop, if wish to have one on TCP I suggest the 5 dolar only, or the 27 days average.... Good Luck!

10-09-03  Advice55: <10-09-03 wally: <carib: R$ 2,83...Wally might actually have to pay a dinner...> gladly!>

Wallito and carib, thanks for remembering, but I think I said it was going there 2 weeks ago, soo I was wrong timing on this one, do not desearve any free deaner on this one, but I would be glad to have deaner with you 2 one day and pay my share!

10-09-03  Advice55: I think USStocks are about to trade side lines again, waiting for the 21 days average to get close to spot prices... I also think it looks like 10 year yields are going to come back to 4.10/4.15 in next sections and EM will perform better in the next sections on that cenario as well....

Might be wrong again, as always, just IMO based on PPI tomorrow and chart looking....

10-09-03  drjbg: MP: <<Whatever else Arnie is, he has a kind and generous heart.>>

Great. But how does that distinguish him my next-door neighbor, my local barber, the local villege idiot, or for that matter, Gov Davis?

We usually elect people based on grasp of policy, good judgment, intelligence, and the like. But I see little evidence of these qualities, except I think he's probably intelligent.
