Captação em bônus eleva reservas internacionais a US$ 54,404 bi

10-23-03  carib: Wally: targets?

10-23-03  Glutt: Alex, bingo, market finds reasons after it has sold.

Spal, we are entering Novemeber - the month of reporting profits for the year and approving budgets for next year - so lame excuses might come to depress markets before pre Xmas rally in December? I guess this accurately happens more or less each year. I guess even opti sold to show the profit on his books.

10-23-03  carib: Pill: any opinion on worldcom recovery value? is it reasonable to expect above 45?

10-23-03  carib: SPAL: I see ITWO is not going down besides the bad "tech day". Maybe a good sign.

10-23-03  SPAL: SAY 17 + 0.77

Indians to the rescue ... love these guys.

10-23-03  SPAL: PETS 8.25 +0.05

A very small move - but in a market like this it is significant - this one if you have it looks like a solid hold - have heard that they are considering listing on the AMEX and feel certain that strong sales growth continues coupled with very solid profitability.

10-23-03  SPAL: <10-23-03 optimist: Its getting interesting.. Countrary to Advice, i think US stocks "stop falling and consolidate" here.. But .. who knows.. He's been damn right in timing recently.. > be careful if it comes back that it is not just a bounce and then further down to test the June 5 lows ...

10-23-03  carib: Opti: I don't know...october is not ober...I do not see prices worth buying...

10-23-03  Glutt: i would also volunteer to join and help to create Spal or Colores Fund. i am near LX or CH and ready to help if is a need. no jokes...

10-23-03  Alexander: <<<cause there is no reason to sell Brazil down once again.... >>>>

hi advise, markets are irrational and need no "reasons"

10-23-03  carib: guano 12 down 2 points...is it to allow re-investment of nov coup, or to make Barrionuevo happy?

10-23-03  Advice55: On USBonds, the bid will be there for longer time and yields might close a little further as stocks stop to acumulate.....

10-23-03  Advice55: D not sell spx any more,it will stop falling today and accumulate....

Selloff in the nikkei was more than expected with the yen at 109....

Brazil going down on the nikkei selloff, Brazilians got all scaried and smart traders are taking there stops, will rebound strongly today, cause there is no reason to sell Brazil down once again....

10-23-03  k1: <"This is a gesture of goodwill on the part of Argentina..>

*lol*

10-23-03  Primo: Wally all that i found in reuters:

ROME, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Argentine Finance Secretary Guillermo Nielsen said on Thursday his country would offer bonds indexed to economic growth to creditors as part of a menu of new paper it will issue in exchange for old, unpaid bonds. "As part of the menu we will be offering, we are offering GDP-indexed bonds," Nielsen said in an interview with Reuters on the fringes of a meeting with representatives of Italian creditors. "This is a gesture of goodwill on the part of Argentina... We will have GDP-indexed bonds that will yield better if Argentina does better," he said. Argentina has proposed slashing by 75 percent the face value of $94 billion of unpaid bonds as part of a debt restructuring following its bond default in 2002. It wants to give investors new paper in exchange for 152 existing issues denominated in seven currencies that are set to be devalued. Nielsen reiterated that Argentina would not budge from the 75 percent "haircut" that has outraged many investors, and said there would be no special treatment for small bondholders, who include some 400,000 ordinary Italians. The finance secretary said the painful restructuring process was not harming the Argentine economy but rather that economic recovery was helping the debt negotiations. "Argentina is recovering at a fast pace and that will help the process of negotiation," he said.

10-23-03  carib: Fox: lux holding will survive the EU new tax legislation. It was a condition for Lux to vote for the directive. Only problem: it's not a <shoebox> corp, so it costs some money. People who just need a <shoebox> to register an account or conduct a transaction have no use for it. For the long term, IMHO it's better than Lichtenstein, because it does not have a <bad name>: it'a EU corporation...

10-23-03  Fox: Gracias Wally!

Interview — German Bundestag Budget Committee member Albrecht Feibel Open to debt pardons?

10-23-03  Glutt: identity verification posting for your b-wiebel mates...(hahaha)

Wally, i do not know for what reason they think so and why this is important for you. May be they are just joking with you. To safe your prestige I posted a link to the Color in email profile & i will repost exactly same posting on the Color. Of course i do not plan to submit a photo of me or my fingerprints, otherwise stop bother about those people who lost their moneys in Argentina and still waste their time on verifying your identity. When ARG will modify non economic terms of their bonds and make new debt cleared/custody in BA jurisdiction, I guess their faces will look like gürken & they will stop bother about your identity.

take care
