Leasing of seasoned/fresh cut SBLC/BG for credit enhancement Needed

09-25-06 MikeS: Educator it is obvious that you are a FOOL!!! Credit enhancement encompasses a variety of provisions that may be used to reduce the credit risk of an obligation. Credit enhancements are often incorporated into OTC derivatives, corporate debt, securitized debt and other instruments. It doesn't involve the use of FC or Seasoned BG/SBLC per the poster request. Anyone on this board who thinks that someone will use their funds or assets to issue a SBLC or BG and turn around and lease to them for a small fee is a FOOL!!! It doesn't not happen in the real world. If you won't do it, why do you think anyone else would.

1. There is no proposal from the poster. I read it as a request to lease an indtrument for credit enhancement, nothing more, nothing less.

2. Why would I only want 15% for an instrument? Why would I even WANT to attempt this. You are simply making a foolish request.

3. I don't work with ppp transactions, I work with Investment Management Opportunities. There IS a difference.

09-24-06 MikeS: Educator I never said instruments can't be used as credit enhancements. However, it is not used how these JOKER BROKERS proposed. But since you believe so much in lease instruments, why don't you have your bank issue an instrument for $10M, swift it to a total stranger, who will then pay you a fee of 15%. You should be good for it, since you closed several ppp transaction.

09-24-06 Educator: MikeS, why the response?? I think it was uncalled for. Bank Instruments are leased all the time for credit enhancement purposes.
